• It is a recurrent chest pain caused by myocardial and obstruction o
coronary blood flow because of atherosclerosis, coronary artery
spasm myocardial oxygen consumption.
• Pain recedes within minutes when blood flow is restored and
myocardium is not irreversibly damaged.
• Can be identified according to the pattern of the pain, its duration
and triggering factors.
