I. Objective:
At the end of the 60-minute class, the Grade 5 students will be able to identify
biotic and abiotic factors in an ecosystem.
II. Subject Matter
Topic: Biotic and Abiotic Factors
Concept: Biotic Factors refer to all the living beings present in an ecosystem, include
the producers, consumer, decomposers.
Abiotic Factors refer to all the non-living components including water,
soil, oxygen, and amount of sunlight.
