The global Covid-19 pandemic has extensively changed the way Al-Estagamah delivers
education to its employees. Previously, most of the educational forums were conducted through
physical seminars and each employee was required to attend the education sessions. However,
the onset of Covid-19 meant cutting down on physical interactions to a minimum. As an
alternative, the company has embraced educating employees through e-learning and
developmental programs such as web-learning, virtual classrooms, video modules, and mobile
learning.
- The web-based learning leverages the use of website content from the company and
select educational partners and offers employees the flexibility to learn at their
convenience. Web learning does not limit the users to learn based on a particular space
but allows access to information whenever users wish to do so. Additionally, website
learning has added advantage of incorporating the use of multimedia which allows for
interactivity and engagement during the learning process (García-Morales et al., 2021).
- Virtual classrooms allow the involvement of both the instructors and participants of the
learning process to interact with each other. This system of learning is the modern
version of an instructor-led training session, however, it is online-based. Instructors can
lead the classrooms by utilizing video software which can also be achieved remotely by

using video conferencing software. The virtual classroom model of learning allows for
collaboration, engagement, and ideation while fostering an environment that allows the
personal connection.
- Video modules are pre-produced learning videos that are mainly used by employees for
reference purposes. The video modules can be either animated or delivered by a human
instructor. This module of learning offers flexibility since it can be accessed anywhere by
the users while offering the advantage of replaying over and over.
- Mobile learning offers accessibility to the whole learning process for employees. By
using mobile phones to access learning materials provided by the company, employees
have access to important information anywhere. Additionally, mobile learning can be
used as a reference since employees can easily access the learning materials whenever
they wish.

the organization during recent times. Include a description of various technologies
applied to organizational training processes over the past few years.
