Electronic learning (e-learning) refers to the utilization of information and

communication technologies to make online teaching or learning resources

available. In other words, it is any kind of web-based or net-enable learning. E-

learning in organizations can be defined as educative tactics that various companies

use to instil required skills, expertise, attitude, and knowledge in their employees.

Since the effectiveness and the likelihood of e-learning to produce actual benefits to

the company in question significantly relies on the way it is assessed, devised, and

delivered, it is important for the organization to invest in these three elements to

maximize on its benefits. In the current world, technology is the force that propels

workeplace training (Miruna, 2019). As a matter of fact, in 2003, the Ammerican

Society for Training and Development conducted a survey, which indicated more

than 90% of the participants utilizing a number of e-learning resources in their

organization. Therefore, this report describes the various e-learning utilized by

organization and the associated issues.

Chatbots and artificial intelligence, hybrid learning, and mobile are some of

the e-learning and development programs arranged by my organization for its

employees in the past one year.

Chatbots and artificial intelligence

Chatbots refer to communicational interface fueled by AI. Alexa and Siri are

among the most famous. Chatbots aim to generate a man-like discourse produced

through an audio or a text. In learning and development, these amazing e-learning

tools may perform a set of quiz to produce learning practice and assessment,

discover the improvement of employees after a particular training, and conducts an

analysis on skills gap to implement questions in portions easy to handle, and provide

feedback. Chatbots have the ability to send bite-sized learning through randomly

choosing a journal from a systematically organized pool and deliver a synopsis to the

trainee (Miruna, 2019). Furthermore, chatbots can also be employed to initiate a

discourse and thereafter, carry on with their comprehension on the user’s needs.

Artificial intelligence gives an understanding established upon huge amounts

of data, which assists trainers promote the production of personalized learning. AI

employs the same technique utilized by YouTube and Netflix to enhance

comprehension of trainee’s behaviours and anticipate user needs, thus giving

recommendations and position contents in line with the specific gaps of the trainee.

Hybrid learning

This approach enables partakers to gain access to training in a wide range of

formats, which allow them to utilize their face-to-face to share information and

engage in discourse. In other words, the partakers are able to access quizzes,

books, articles, videos, podcasts, e-learning, and whenever they virtually meet via in-

person discussions, they can further participate in a much better and efficient

learning.
