Stereotypes are mental pictures existing in our minds about other like religious
, caste , professional groups .It is a summary impression of a group in which a
person belives that all group share a common trait or traits. They are very
objective [ based on facts ]. They are based on rigid, biased,generliazed
concepts based on inadequate knowledge associated with feelings such as
likes and dislikes approval or disapproval .Some stereotypes are positive ,like
behaving that one’s own culture is the best . Some are negative.
