System of Equations

In 11th grade Algebra II Honors, the study of systems of equations involves solving multiple equations simultaneously to find the values of variables that satisfy all equations in the system. Students learn various methods for solving these systems, including graphing, substitution, and elimination. Graphing allows students to visualize the solutions as points where the lines intersect, while substitution and elimination provide algebraic techniques for finding exact solutions. The course also covers systems of linear equations and inequalities, as well as systems involving quadratic or polynomial equations.
