others not so well. A hard day may include stating with action but going to
contemplation and then pre-contemplation. Working hard but still feeling a bit shaky

Maintenance
6 months or more. Maybe be setting new goals. Experiencing the rewards but still
experiencing slips.

Involves summarizing, paraphrasing, or reiterating what the client has said to build
rapport and ensure clarity and understanding. Match clients tone, body language, and
gestures.
