Task 3
Three improvements:-
1. Have a clear objective
In this video the students have no clear goal on what they are expected to
learn and there is also no clear explanation or task on how to assess or
measure the learning and elicit target language. There is too much TTT
and not enough STT.
2. Use materials
Students are asked to use materials such as books and pens. The students
have none available and the teacher hasn’t prepared anything in advance.
The board is also not prepared.
3. Give direct instruction
The teacher is totally unprepared so lacks the ability to instruct his
students to carry out any tasks either in the controlled practice or free
production stages. No learning is taking place.
