PP Sleep Improvement Strategies
- go to bed immediately after an evening feed
- avoid excessive caffeine and confine it to the morning
- minimize noise and distractions, including baby monitors and smartphones
- engage in soothing interactions with the baby during nighttime feedings
- nap in the early afternoon for at least 90 minutes for a complete REM cycle
- enlist help during the day to be able to rest
- continue breastfeeding at night
