Function: Transport sperm to the urethra
Urethra
Shared pathway for urine and semen.
Divided into prostatic, membranous, and penile (spongy) segments.
3. Accessory Glands

prostaglandins.
Prostate Gland
Produces prostatic fluid, enhancing sperm motility and viability.
Bulbourethral (Cowper’s) Glands
Secretes lubricating mucus and neutralizes acidic urine in the urethra.
