The Cardiovascular System is composed of our heart, blood vessels
and the blood flowing through. In this essay, we will explore this
complex system by detailing the anatomy and functions that he
performs. Then, we will discuss its role in maintaining good health
by examining common diseases and their impacts on the human
body
, +Overview of the Cardiovascular system:
The function of the cardiovascular system is to help blood get
transported throughout the body. Its 3 main components consist
of: the heart, located in the mediastinum, blood vessels, and
finally the circulating blood.
The heart is a muscular organ located in the chest. It acts as the
pump that propels blood through the blood vessels, which are
arteries, veins, and capillaries. Then, this life-giving fluid carries
oxygen, nutrients, hormones, and waste products to and from the
other parts of the body. Together, these structures ensure that every
part of the body receives the necessary substances in order to
function correctly and remove the metabolic waste they don’t need.
