elevation.
UNIT –III 6 Periods
Geographical Measurement
Principles of survey, measurement of distance by chain and tape,
area calculation,
prismatic compass, measurement of bearing and conversions, the
study of levels, benchmarks and determination of reduced levels,
contour and their characteristics, Introduction to remote sensing
and its applications.
