PARTS OF SPEECH
NOUN VERB

To express things, persons, places, To express actions, states, and occurrences.

PREPOSITION ADJECTIVE

To show relationship between words. To describe thing by its size, age, shape,
Preposition cannot be subject. color, origin, material, purpose.


Example: In, on, at, by, after, before, beyond. Example: tiny, old, round, black, Turkish,
leather, covering.



PRONOUN
CONJUNCTION
The words use to replace noun. Pronoun can
be used as subject. Words to connect phrases, sentences, and
clauses.
Example: She, he, it, I, you, we, they.
Example: But, yet, or, also, and, while, whilst.



DETERMINER
INTERJECTION
To identificate things.
To express emotion.
Example: an, a, the
Example: Wow!, No!, Argh!.



ARTICLE
ADVERB
To modify words.
To explain verb by adding explanation about
Example: This, that, those, these, which, its place, time, and manner.
many, much, enough, few, what.
Example: Here, at nine, quickly.
