By Rais Mauthoor
Creating information
Introduction
This assignment will present complex internal business information using three different
methods appropriate to the user’s needs. Afterwards, this report will portray a piece of
corporate communication of which I have produced.
P2 Present complex internal business information using
three different methods appropriate to the user's needs
The purpose for this report is to inform three different audiences of the performance of
the National Health Service (NHS). Firstly, the intended audience for the report are the
directors or the senior management of the NHS. This report includes an elaborate graph
and bar chart which should be understood by the directors without difficulty. My verbal
presentation will be suitable for a number of business journalists who will want to report
on the performance of the organisation. The verbal presentation will be accompanied by
my guidance to ensure that the journalists are able to follow the presentation and
absorb the information without getting confused. The leaflet will be aimed at the staff of
the organisation. I have taken into account that the employees may not have extensive
knowledge of the performance of the business hence the leaflet is simple and easy to
digest.
This report contains statistics and figures from the NHS organisation. The bar chart
below presents the number of visits to the NHS’ website in 2013, 2014 and 2015.
According to the bar chart, it is clear that the NHS’ website has seen a consecutive
increase in the number of visits across the three years. We can see that in 2013
approximately 361 million people visited their website. In 2014 approximately 503
million people visited their website and in 2015 approximately 583 million people visited
their website. These statistics tell us that the NHS is becoming more prominent and
helpful whilst also more needed by the public. This suggests that their operations are
successful.
