, INTRODUCTION
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Nowadays, there are many convenient ways for people to do their daily
transaction. For example, online shopping, ordering food and paying parking
fee. For this project, I propose a movie booking ticket system. This is not an
online booking ticket but the interface are easier for customer to use.
There are a few objectives of this project. The first aim is to reduce the
number of workers at the ticket counter. Secondly, to avoid the long queue at
the counter so that customer will not waste their time to buy their ticket. Lastly,
to provide facility for customer if they walk in go the cinema.
First thing of the day, the worker will login by input username and
password to the system to activate the booking interface. After that, customer
will input all the information needed for the booking purpose such as customer
name, movie code and number of seats. The maximum number of booking per
day are depends on the cinema limitation. Once the limits are reach, all the
data will transfer to receipt.txt. Plus, the total ticket price of the day will also be
count and presentable. Therefore, it can be recorded by the cinema
production.
ANALYSIS
INPUT Username, password, customer name, movie code and number
of seats
PROCESS Determine movie name and calculate total price for every
customer
OUTPUT Total price
