dismantling or demolition of any building, any road,
any drainage, any electrical works, any bridge and
works which include site clearance, soil investigation etc.

1994 (Act 520).

Leadership Commitment
Company leaders must be committed to workplace safety and lead by example. This involves establis
safety policies, providing resources for safety training and equipment, and holding employees
accountable for following safety procedures.
Employee Involvement
Employees should be involved in the development of safety policies and procedures. Workers frequen
have the most in-depth knowledge of the risks and hazards associated with their jobs, and they may of
insightful advice on how to reduce those risks.
Safety Training and Education
Employees need to get training on how to spot workplace dangers and deal with them.
This includes instructions on how to wear personal protection equipment (PPE) correctly, how to oper
machinery and equipment safely, and how to handle emergencies.
