Book Critique over Slave Narrative
Introduction
Job's autobiography is presented in the eighteenth-century historical background. Thomas
Bluett wrote it and released it in 1754. The story follows Job from his upbringing in England
through his life as a slave in the American colonies. The tale is about a man named Job who
lived a rich life. He had a spouse, kids, and a good life. However, he was unexpectedly struck by
a sequence of misfortunes that left him poor and despondent. In the middle of his pain, he asks
God, asking to see why he is suffering. God replies by stating that Job lacks the knowledge and
wisdom to criticize his deeds. Job realizes he has been haughty and proud, and he subsequently
repents. God restores employment, money, and the ability to live a good life. As a result, the
book essentially tells the tale of Job's life, beginning with his boyhood, when he was a slave and
carried to America, and ending with how he endured achieving his liberation, and leave his
impression on London society (Hambuch & Al-Badaai, 2020), and return to Africa.

against these demands and choose to carve out their route in life. The author Bluett analyzes
class struggle as the second issue. He discusses how various classes in society frequently have
