Notes for the oral (maximum of 10 bullet points):
1. Propaganda: tool used mainly in authoritarian regimes. Tool to mould + control narratives. limits
ability for self-expression. Introduce texts
2. B: Pattern = propaganda in education - Veil: “They are symbols of capitalism” - bilingual = Western
beliefs, ≠ religious homogeneity = contradict principles, official → focal point
3. B: The Key: “And we had to beat our breasts” - propaganda heavily used in education, younger =
easier, lack of individuality = clothes + expressions
4. E: Shahab = constricted , body language + expression = worried, GW ↑ = transition to his memory
(p5), Shahab = Mature + experience = concious of manipulation
5. E: Manipulate young and poor = easy because no outside influence, graphic weight ↑ = isolation,
evilness, no light = no hope (p6), “hypno” + “convince” = propaganda

prejudice → “need” = commanding = authoritative, manipulate emotion
