ofbthesebwasbanbinterestbinbprovidingbabcurriculumbthatbwouldbmeetbstakeholders‟bneeds.bAnbadditio
nalbfactorbwasbanbexpressedbinterestbonbthebpartbofbUniversitiesbandbgovernmentbtobmaintainborbincr
easebenrollmentbonbanbaggregatebbasis.bThisbnaturallybtrickledbdownbthroughbthebvariousbuniversitie
s‟borgansbandbwasbreflectedbinbthisbresponse.
WithbthebimplementationbofbthebnewbEducationalbRoadbMapbofbthebcountry,bstartingbinbtheb2020baca
demicbyear,bfourbyearsbcurriculumbhasbbeenbdevelopedbandbitbisbbeingbofferedbtobstudentsbthatbhaveb
beenbadmittedbfrombpreparatorybprograms.bInbthebpreparationbofbthebcurriculum,basbperbthebinstructi
onbofbthebUniversitiesbandbMinistrybofbSciencebandbHigherbEducation,babdiscussionbwasbmadebwithb
universitiesbthatbofferbeducationbonbmanagementbfield.
Whenbthebcurrentbmanagementbcurriculumbwasbdesigned,battemptbwasbmadebtobintegratebsuggestio
nsbfrombvariousbstakeholders.bSuggestionbfrombthesebsourcesbindicatedbthatbnewbcommunicationban
dbleadershipbskillsbwouldbbebdesirable.
Amongbtheblessonsbacquiredbthroughbbenchmarkingbisbthebdevelopmentbofbcurriculumbbybusingbthe
BalancedbScorecardb(BSC)bModelbdevelopedbbybKaplanbandbNortonb(1996).
