Triangular depression on the front of upper one-third of thigh below
inguinal ligament
, BOUNDARIES
• Laterally – medial border of sartorius
• Medially – medial border of adductor longus
• Apex – formmed by point where medial and lateral boundaries meet
• Floor - medially by adductor longus and pectineus
• Laterally by iliopsoas
• Base – inguinal ligament
• Roof – skin , superficial fasia, deep fasia
• Superficial fasia content – superfiicial inguinal lymph node ,
superficial branches of femoral artery with accompanying vein ,
cutaneous vein , cutaneous nerve
• Deep fasia content – saphenous opening and cribriform fas
