A licensee must have an ACTIVE license to practice, however, may choose active,
inactive or retired when renewing.
What must a PT pay at time of renewal and at any other time other than renewal when
changing status from either inactive or retired? - answer A renewal fee for both
ACTIVE and INACTIVE status is applied, however, renewal fee for INACTIVE status
may NOT exceed fee for active status renewal.
, ACTIVE changing to INACTIVE:
@ time of renewal: pay inactive status renewal fee, and if applicable, delinquency fee &
fee to change licensure status
@ any other time: pay fee to change licensure status
ACTIVE or INACTIVE changing to RETIRED:
@ time of renewal: pay retired status fee which may not exceed $50

An INACTIVE status licensee may change to ACTIVE status at any time IF: - answer
they meet all requirements for active status, including must meet all CEU requirements
for ALL periods of inactivity (same is true for retired status)S

If a licensee fails to renew before expiration, their license becomes - answer

When license becomes delinquent they must do what or else their license becomes null

which license becomes delinquent.

If a license is inactive for 2 or more biennial cycles (4 years) and licensee applies for an
active status, they may have to - answer take a portion of NPTE or special purpose
exam to ensure competancy and safety
