licensed plumber/ fire suppression contractor perform air/water test of standpipe - ANS-during
alarm installation
standpipe alarm installation documented by CSFM - ANS-during alarm installation
standpipe alarm soundings logged and documentation includes description of response to alarm
- ANS-per incident
standpipe repaired and retested until retesting is successful after filed bi-weekly test by licensed
plumber/fire suppression subcontractor. Repairs documented - ANS-after failed biweekly
inspection
sprinkler systems for use at construction sites shall be provided, maintained and made available
for FD use - ANS-maintained as needed
CSFM shall be responsible for verifying FDNY hot work permit and supervising the issuance of
authorizations for hot work operations - ANS-daily
a fire guard is required at each hot work operation while in progress and shall continue on site
for minimum of 30 minutes after each hot work operation is complete. A log book shall be
maintained on site - ANS-daily
a fire guard shall be assigned one floor below hot work operations for fire exposures that are not
observable by fire guard on the floor above - ANS-daily
