Translational Motion
Defination:-
Rotational Motion:-
The motion of an object around a
fixed axis, where the object follows a circular path.
Example:
1) A wheel rotating on its axis.
(2) A planet orbiting or orbitating its star.
, 2
Translational Motion:-
The motion of an object in a
straight Line where every paint on the object moves the
Same distance in the same direction. It is also called linear
motion.
Keypoints:-
=> Straight line path.
=> Equal distance
=> Constant velocity.
The object speed and the direction. remains constant
unless acted upon by an external force.
Example:
1)A ball rolling across a flat surface.
2)A train moving along in a straight track.
=> Rotational motion and translational motion are the
fundamental concept in physics and engineering and is
used to describe a wide range of phenomenon in our daily
life.
