How to make a claim?
-Firstly, the claimant needs to send an N1 form to the defendant. This shows that
they are making a claim.
- The defendant can do one of the following:
-Accept the proposed settlement and pay the damages.
-Ignore the N1 form, then the claim will automatically be in the claimant’s favour
-Return an N9 form to show they want to dispute the claim.
