Project Three: Reflection
Upon receiving feedback on my persuasive essay, I embarked on a deep self-reflection
process to identify the areas where I could improve. During this process, I realized that one of
my primary areas for improvement was more evidence to support my claims. Therefore, to
, address this concern, I recognized the need to go beyond surface-level research and provide more
comprehensive and relevant evidence to substantiate my assertions. I thoroughly analyzed the
available evidence, ensuring it was robust and could effectively support my arguments. I then
accompanied the evidence with clear and concise explanations to enhance the efficacy of my
opinion.
In addition, the feedback I received also highlighted the importance of structuring the
essay correctly. I took this recommendation seriously and ensured the essay was organized with a
clear introduction, body, and conclusion. I focused on creating a logical structure that facilitated
ease of comprehension for the readers. Each paragraph was carefully crafted to flow smoothly
into the next, with clear topic sentences that effectively conveyed the central ideas. The result
was a well-structured essay that presented my position coherently and logically, making it easy
for the readers to follow my argument and understand my overall message.
To strengthen my argument, I actively sought feedback from diverse sources, including
my peers, daughter, and instructor, and carefully considered their insights. I paid close
attention to highlighted inconsistencies or shortcomings, recognizing that addressing these
issues was critical to strengthening my position. I devoted significant time to refining my thesis
statement,
ensuring it was clear and well-supported and that my argument was grounded in robust evidence.
I also analyzed my sources to ensure they were reliable, authoritative, and up to date. By using
