Format menu – cells – db opens – font tab – font,
typeface , size, etc- font effects tab – font
colour,etc-ok
Alignment
Format menu – cells – db opens – alignment tab –
click the desired alignment
Horizontal alignment - column
Default- acc. To the default settings of the type of
data
Left Right Center
Filled- within the column width. other data not
coming in column would be hidden
Justified- increases column width to adjust all text.
Vertical Alignment -row
Bottom top middle default
Wrap text Wraps text in multiple lines to
accommodate within the column
width but increasing row height
Shrink to fit cell size Reduces font size to
accommodate within column
width
Text orientation Rotate the direction of cell contents .
type the degree of angle of rotation or
drag the content in required position
Format cells to hold decimal values
range of cells – frmt menu – cells – numbers –
desired format – no.of values after decimal-ok
