1- when driver returns from an illness or injury that interferes with driving ability,
even if certificate had not expired
2- Annually if has exemption
When does a medical certification need to be done according to FMCSA
At midnight on the day, month and year written on certificate. No grace period on
expiration.
When does the certificate expire?

give a cop of the Medical Examination Report form to the employer. What needs to
