We are doing our research about technology, we are researching the following question; What
is the impact of mobile applications in hotels in order to improve customer satisfaction?
The technology in our daily lives in undeniable. This is due to the fact that in today’s dynamic
world, you can’t live without because than you are not able to keep up in daily live with all
latest trends.
One of the area’s that technology has been of great use is hospitality. There are nowadays many
electric devises which make things easier and more efficient every day and everywhere. People
want to do their things as quick as possible. With the help of technology, how it is organized
and what options you have, people are more satisfied about their stay these days.
Hotels with mobile apps get higher customer satisfaction ratings from their guests, making
smartphone technology a key part of providing good service ( Robert Williams, 2017 )
Hotels that incorporate mobile apps and functionality into a hotel stay have higher guest
satisfaction ( Deanna Ting, 2017 )
Our objectives for this research is to gather information on how satisfies guests are with
new technological trends and adjustments/advances which can bring comfort during
their stay and have impact towards the guest satisfaction.

How is Mobile Technology changing the hospitality Industry?
According to the website Statista, mobile internet user penetration was about 52.7% in 2015
and per Nielsen data a smartphone user spends around 85% of time on the application on the
phone (Kumari, 2018). Hotels nowadays are trying to every effort to get more customer as
guest are more mobile friendly nowadays, as a hotel having an application on a guest phone
would increase their satisfaction and increase customer friendliness and making things easier.
Mobile technology is to focus on streamline service and making it more efficient (Kumari,
2018)

onsite staff, and even with your room directly through your phone—and with far more
capabilities than ever before (Null, 2015). Hotels are being slowed to adapt technologies,
remembering the original keys to an actual room, later plastic room key and now even
able to open your room in your palm of hand. Appealing to a younger generation who
are more technology minded has helped with the Hilton Mobile app you are even able to
