2nd stage: resistance; body resists against fight or flight stage. Hormones are
released telling body to relax. Homeostasis goes back to normal levels
3rd stage: exhaustion all stressors relax but body is worn out.

-restorative; on our way back to good health. Ex/ physical therapy or rehab
