OSCE ASTHMA& PSORIASIS
(OSCE) is a practical, exam-based assessment used in healthcare education to evaluate a student's clinical skills, decision-making, and professional behavior. OSCEs consist of multiple stations, each presenting a specific scenario where students interact with standardised patients (actors), simulators, or examiners. These exams assess essential skills such as: Clinical Communication – Explaining conditions, treatments, and medications to patients. Physical Examination & Diagnosis – Performing assessments like checking lung function in asthma or COPD cases. Procedural Skills – Demonstrating techniques such as proper inhaler use. Clinical Reasoning – Making treatment decisions based on patient symptoms and history. OSCEs are commonly used in pharmacy, medicine, and other healthcare programs to ensure students are prepared for real-world patient interactions and professional practice.
