I. Objective/s:
At the end of the lesson, the students would be able to grasp at least 75% of
the lesson and should be able to:
a) Define the noun.
b) identify the noun.
c) Construct a sentence using nouns that can be seen inside the
classroom.
II. Subject Matter
a) Topic: Nouns
b) Resources: The Rainbows in English, pp.7-11
c) Materials: Word slips, Photo cards, Worksheets and PowerPoint
III. Procedures
The class must start with a prayer which will be led by the teacher.
After the prayer, the teacher will greet the pupils. (Good
morning/afternoon pupils! Its nice to see you.)
a) Motivation (1st activity)
1. The pupils will form into 2 groups. Name the groups as a person,
place, animal or object.
2. The teacher will introduce the Game of Charades wherein it is a game
that its objective is to guess the word being act out.
3. Each round of the game will proceeds as follows:
A player from Team A draws five word slips from Team B's
basket (which contains at least 10 words). After he/she had a
short time to review the slips, the timekeeper for team B notes
the time and tells the player to start. Team A then has 1 minutes
to guess the 3 words. If they do not figure it out in one minute,
the timekeeper announces that the time is up.
