Document in newspaper format
Aim:
To create a document in newspaper format with usage of spell checks and
finds and replace.
Procedure:
Step 1: Create a new document
Step 2: Set up the page layout
Choose a newspaper-like font (e.g., Times new roman, Garamond)
Adjust margins to create a columns.
Use a smaller font size for body text.
Step 3: Add content
Write articles, news stories, editorials, or any relevant content.
Include images if desired.
Arrange text and images in columns, mimicking a newspaper layout.
Step 4: Use spell check
Navigate to the “review” tab in your word processor.
Click ”spelling & Grammar” or a similar option.
The spell checker will identify misspelled words, offering suggestions for
corrections.
Review each suggestion and accept or ignore it as needed.
Step 5: Use find and replace
Press “ctrl+H” to open the find and replace dialog box.
In the “find what” field, enter the word or phrase you want to replace.
In the “replace with” field, enter the replacement text.
Click ”replace all” to replace all occurrences or “replace” to replace one at
a time.
