Embedded Systems
Embedded systems are specialized computing systems designed to perform specific tasks within a larger system. Unlike general-purpose computers, which can perform a wide variety of functions, embedded systems are tailored to a particular application, often with tight constraints on size, power consumption, and performance. A real-time system (RTS) is a computing system that must respond to inputs or events within a strict, defined time frame. The "real-time" aspect of these systems refers to the requirement that they must deliver correct results within the deadlines.
