stretches or shrinks clip to fit the clip length selected in the timeline

1. mark IN/OUT points in both timelines and source clip
2. select fit to fill in motion effects
Trim to Fill
allows you to manually adjust the speed of a clip in the timeline to fit a certain space
Creating Trim to Fill
apply the time-warp effect (trim to fill) from the effects palette to clip in the timeline and
then use trim tools and keys to shorten or lengthen the clip
Navigating by Frame Set
allows you to type the number of seconds and frames you want to either move forward
or backwards in the clip (click either source or record monitor to activate the clip you
want)
Navigating by Time Code
allows you to skip to a certain section of a clip by typing the exact timecode
