Ans. Arabia is the land of unparalleled land of charm and beauty, with its trackless
deserts of sand dunes in the dazzling rays of the sun. Its starry sky has captured the
imagination of poets and travelers.
Q.2 Why was the holy Quran sent in Arabic?
Ans. Holy Quran was sent in Arabic because Allah Almighty chose the Arabic language
for his final dispensation and the preservation of His Word.
Q.3 For which ability were the Arabs famous?
Ans. The Arabs possessed a remarkable memory and were eloquent people. Their
eloquence and memory can be found in their poetry. Every year a poetical competition
was held at Ukaz.
Q.4 What was the condition of mankind before Rasool (SAW)?
Ans. In the fifth and sixth century, mankind stood on the verge of chaos. It seemed that
the civilization that took four thousand years to grow had started crumbling.
Q.5 Why did the Rasool (SAW) stay in the cave of Hira?
Ans. Rasool (SAW) stayed at the cave of Hira in solitude and meditation. In the cave of
Hira, he used to retire with food and water and spend days and weeks in the remembrance
of Allah Almighty.

Ans. The first revelation is given below;
“Read in the name of thy lord who created; created man from a clot (of congealed blood):
Read and thy lord is Most Bountiful who taught (the use of) the pen, taught man which he
knew not” (Al Quran 96: 1-5)
Q.7 Why did the pagans threaten the Rasool (SAW)?
Ans. The pagan Arabs started to mount pressure on the Rasool (SAW) and his followers.
They wanted them to renounce their cause and take to idol – worshipping. On one
occasion they sent a delegation to the Rasool (SAW) kind and caring uncle Abu Talib.
They told him to restrain the Rasool (SAW) from preaching Islam or face their enmity.

protection of these values.

Ans) As a citizen of Pakistan, we must develop a sense of patriotism which galvanizes us
into one united and strong country. (Galvanize means to make fast or excite someone in
doing something)
Q. 4 What makes us stay alert in the wake of foreign invasion?
Ans) The spirit of patriotism makes us stay alert in the wake of foreign invasion. In the
history of Pakistan there are many instances in which people laid down their lives for the
defense of the country.
Q. 5 How will you elaborate Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah‟s quote?
“We must develop a sense of patriotism which galvanizes us into one united and
strong nation.”
Ans) In this quote Quaid-e-Azam emphasized the spirit of patriotism. He elaborated that
we should develop the sense of patriotism. Only by this way we can prove our unity as a
nation.
