Cerebrum (cerebral cortex) - many higher-level

Cerebellum - Posterior and inferior structure,

Medulla oblongata - Lowermost part of the brainstem
that controls basic bodily life-sustaining functions
such as heartbeat, breathing, blood pressure, and
digestion. Connect to the spinal cord, neurons cross
the body sides here.
Pons - the part of the brainstem that links the medulla
oblongata and the thalamus, regulates sleep and
arousal
