Different Components of the Ethical Issue
In this scenario, there is an issue with several employees that feel as though
the business Uchromz is not disclosing certain information to customers. Uchromz
has their customers to sign an agreement that will allow the company to share the
customers personal DNA information with other agencies. The company does not
, dispose of any of the customers DNA, which makes it one of the largest biobanks
that hold personal confidential information. Once the information is shared,
Uchromz has no way of knowing how the other companies are using the customers
information. Some employees of Uchromz feel that the company should provide
more detailed information to the customers regarding who receives their
information. I feel as though it is the right of the customer to know that their
information is not completely secure. Even though some employees think that by
