Interpersonal Communication - ANSWER Is the process of exchanging ideas,
messages or information between two or more persons through speaking,
writing, or action to affect some kind of action.

communicating. when officers are talking with inmates, visitors, and staff, they
are receiving constant nonverbal messages.
Body language or nonverbal cues - ANSWER *Sweating, Rapid breathing,
Fidgeting, blinking, or rocking back and forth can indicate nervousness.
Effective Barriers - ANSWER *profane, derogatory, or disrespectful language,
stereotyping, derogatory hand gestures or body movements, stress and fatigue
