Housing system is refers to a shelter that protects animals from hazards, climate conditions, and
infections while being comfortable and sanitary. The goal of housing system is to improve animal
health, disease control, and management, which can lead to increased production.
Advantages of housing system:

Loose Housing
- Keeping animal close in an open paddock or pasture though out the day and night except at milking
time.
- The open paddock is provided with shelter along one side.
- A common watering tank is provided and fodder is fed in common mangers.
- Self feeding is practiced in loose system of housing.
- All types of livestock can be housed and managed under loose housing.
- Cheaper to construct easier to expand and flexible in utility.
