Market Survey
The proponents conducted a market survey according to the chosen target market in order
to gather the following information. The proponents used Purposive Sampling and Slovin’s
formula for determining the appropriate respondents and its sample size. The Slovin's Formula
allows proponents to identify the right number of samples to obtain reasonable results as well as
how to sample a population accurately. The proponents gathered 381 respondents who were
categorized as student, employed, self-employed status. Respondents are health conscious
individuals who are interested in trying new food trends.

The demographic profile of the respondents according to sex is shown in figure 1.1.
There are 49.3 percent for the female respondents and 50.7 percent for male respondents.
Therefore, the majority of the respondents are males with the average frequency of 193. This
will help the business to understand the target market better. Since, there is a slim difference
between the two options, this is an indication that the business must be fair in catering products
to ensure inclarity in their marketing efforts.
