, INTRODUCTION
We consider our healthy and mature youth to be a decisive force in building
New Uzbekistan1. For this purpose, we will create a new system to realize their
potential in knowledge, culture, art and sports, and to encourage entrepreneurship2.

English is one of the world's official languages and the current globalization
process needs close relationships with other countries, everyone wants to learn
another language. As our first President proclaimed, learning a foreign language
helps our country move forward. The development of science in general, and
linguistic science in particular, is linked not only to the solution of actual scientific
problems, but also to the state's internal and foreign policy, as well as the
maintenance of state educational standards, which are the generators of progress in
social and economic society.
Development of a science as a whole and a linguistic science, in particular is
connected not only to the decision of actuality scientific problems, but also with
features internal and foreign policy of state, the maintenance of state educational
standards which are to the generators of progress providing social, economic
society. It forms the society capable quickly to adapt in the modern world.

, The rapid advancement of technology has revolutionized various aspects of
our lives, including education. This course paper explores the importance of
incorporating new technologies in teaching practices and how it can humorously
transform the way we educate and learn. Through a blend of informative content,
the course paper highlights the benefits of using technology in education, such as
increased engagement, personalized learning experiences, and improved student
outcomes. By embracing new tools and platforms, educators can create dynamic
and interactive learning environments that cater to the diverse needs of students.
Topicality of the research is conditioned by the followings:
- Researching the concept of technology and education;
- Revealing the ways that new technology is used in education;
- Analyzing the role and usage of modern technology in educational system.
The aim of this course paper is to delve into the multifaceted realm of
idioms and slang within the English language, with a focus on unraveling their
linguistic structures, social functions, and cultural implications. By examining a
diverse array of idiomatic expressions and slang terms, the paper seeks to
accomplish the following objectives.
The tasks of the paper: Conduct a thorough review of existing literature on
idioms and slang in English, including scholarly articles, books, and relevant
research papers. Summarize key findings, theories, and debates in the field,
identifying gaps in knowledge and areas for further investigation. Gather a diverse
range of idiomatic expressions and slang terms from authentic sources such as
literature, media, online forums, and spoken discourse. Organize collected data
systematically, categorizing idioms and slang based on thematic, semantic, or
syntactic criteria. Analyze the linguistic structure of selected idiomatic expressions
and slang terms, examining their syntactic patterns, semantic components, and

, figurative meanings. Explore how idioms and slang are formed, including
processes such as metaphor, metonymy, and semantic extension. Investigate the
pragmatic functions of idioms and slang in communication, exploring how they
contribute to speaker meaning, implicature, and conversational implicature.
Examine the role of context, inference, and shared knowledge in interpreting
idiomatic expressions and slang. Explore the social and cultural dimensions of
idioms and slang, considering their usage in different speech communities, social
contexts, and demographic groups. Present case studies or examples illustrating the
use of idioms and slang in specific contexts, such as literature, advertising, social
media, or youth culture.
Theoretical value of the paper lies in its ability to advance knowledge and
theory in linguistics while also offering practical implications for language
teaching, communication studies, and cultural analysis.
The practical value of the paper is in its application across various
contexts, enhancing language skills, cultural competence, communication
effectiveness, and professional development.
Contents of the course paper: The present paper consists of introduction,
two chapters which include a few paragraphs, conclusion and bibliography.
Within the introduction part, we gave the brief description of the paper,
where we described its topicality, practical and theoretical significance, and
described the importance of topic.
The first chapter of the paper deals with the background information on
modern technology.
The second chapter of the course paper is dedicated to the role and usage of
new technology in edicational system.
In the conclusion of the paper, we tried to obtain the results of the work.
