How long do you have to replace a lost/stolen badge? - ANSWER 10 business days
from the date of loss or theft. An application is required when coming to the ACO for the
replacement.
Where are replacement fees listed? - ANSWER The airport's schedule of
charges located on the airport website. Fees escalate each time a badge is replaced
and not permitted after the third occurrence.
There may not be a fee for a stolen badge if a police report listing the badge as stolen
property is provided to the ACO at the time of badge replacement.
How is access to the US Customs and Border Protection Secure Identification Area
identified? - ANSWER A seal on the badge. The seal identifies the Customer secure
areas you are authorized to enter. Access to US Customs Secure Identification Areas
must be approved by the Department of Homeland Security Customs and Border
Protection.
When and by whom can your badge be revoked? - ANSWER At any time by
the Airport Security Coordinator (ASC).
Whose property is your ID badge? - ANSWER DFW International Airport Board. It must
be returned immediately upon demand or termination. If you leave your employment,
you must return your badge to your supervisor or to the ACO immediately.
Badge Renewal - ANSWER Employees responsibility to submit a renewal
application and renew the badge prior to the expiration date.
You are encouraged to start the process 60 days before the expiration date.
Expired badges (30+ days) will require the badge holder to begin the application
process over again, including a fee, fingerprinting, and a Security Threat Assessment
result from TSA before the next badge will be issued.
