Computer study

Computer Study is the field of learning that focuses on understanding computers, how they
work, how they are built (hardware and software), and how to use them to solve problems,
create applications, and manage information.

It covers areas like programming, computer systems, networking, databases, cybersecurity,
artificial intelligence, and more.

Why is Computer Study Important?

Computers are used everywhere — in hospitals, schools, businesses, airports, banks, and homes.

Knowing how computers work gives you power and opportunity: you can build apps, automate
tasks, protect information, and even invent new technology.

Main Areas of Computer Study:

1. Computer Basics

What is a computer?

Parts of a computer (hardware: CPU, memory, storage, etc.)

What makes computers "think" (software and operating systems)

2. Programming

Learning coding languages like Python, Java, C++

Writing instructions for computers to follow (algorithms)

3. Computer Systems

How hardware and software work together

Learning about servers, networks, operating systems

4. Data and Databases

How computers store, organize, and retrieve information

Learning about databases (like MySQL, MongoDB)

5. Networking and the Internet

How computers connect and communicate with each other

Understanding the internet, Wi-Fi, cloud computing

, 6. Cybersecurity

How to protect computers and networks from hacking and viruses

Understanding digital safety

7. Software Development

Building programs, apps, and systems

Project management for software creation (Agile, DevOps)

8. Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (more advanced)

How computers can learn and make decisions by themselves

Studying robots, chatbots, recommendation systems (like Netflix suggesting movies)

9. Ethics and Impact

Understanding how computers affect society

Learning about privacy, digital rights, and future technology trends

BASIC OF COMPUTER

What is a Computer?

A computer is an electronic device that takes input (data), processes it, and gives output
(information). It can store, retrieve, and process information quickly. Computers are used in
almost every field today — like education, business, medicine, and entertainment.

Parts of a Computer:

1. Input Devices – Let you enter data into the computer.

Examples: Keyboard, Mouse, Scanner, Microphone

2. Output Devices – Show you the result after processing.

Examples: Monitor (screen), Printer, Speakers

3. Central Processing Unit (CPU) – The "brain" of the computer.

It processes all the instructions and controls other parts.

4. Memory/Storage – Where data is saved.

RAM (Random Access Memory): Temporary memory used while the computer is working.
