Marxism is a theory developed by Karl Marx
that says society is divided into two main
groups: the ruling class (those with power and
money) and the working class (those who
labor). Marx believed that the ruling class
exploits the working class by paying them low
wages and keeping the profits for themselves.
This creates inequality and unfairness. Marx
argued that capitalism (an economic system
where businesses are privately owned) is the
root of this problem. He proposed a new
system, communism, where resources are
shared equally and there is no private
ownership. Marx's goal was to empower the
working class to rise up and create a fairer
society through revolution.
