Different Kinds of Vectors
Let's run through the types of vectors you'll encounter:
Zero Vector:
This is a special one. It has a magnitude of zero. Importantly, the direction of a zero vector is
undefined.
It's like saying "go nowhere" - there's no specific direction to go.
Ashutosh emphasized, any null vector or zero vector - its direction is undefined, it is indeterminate.
Unit Vector:
We'll see more about these soon, but just a heads-up - a unit vector has a magnitude of 1.
They're incredibly useful for defining directions.
That gives you a solid foundation for vector algebra.
We'll be diving into more operations and concepts in the next lessons.
