ensuring a society’s civil order and is normally passed by
Parliament.
• Laws and regulations are codified when they are arranged i
systematic code for example, Indian Penal Code 1860, Indian Evide
Act 1872 and Constitution of India 1950.
• The codification of law enables the identification of inconsistenc
duplications, and unclear statutes.
• Codification establishes a standardized source that is accessible
both experts and the general public.
