POCUS- Point of care Ultrasound, a quick, non invasive,
goal directed assessment, to speed the diagnosis and treat
the patient
Indications of POCUS Echo
- Visual assessment of LV function/ Ejection Fraction
- Identify Regional wall motion abnormalities
- Look for pericardial effusion/ Cardiac tamponade
- Right ventricular strain (PE)
- Identify major valve problems
