➢ Basic compositions refer to structured written pieces that convey ideas, arguments, or
narratives in a clear and organized manner. They often follow a standard format and can
include:
1. Essays: Written works that present a viewpoint or analysis on a specific topic. Common
types include:
a) Narrative Essays: Tell a story or share personal experiences.
b) Descriptive Essays: Provide detailed descriptions of a person, place, or event.
c) Expository Essays: Explain a topic or idea with facts and examples.
d) Persuasive Essays: Argue for a specific point of view, aiming to convince the
reader.
2. Reports: Objective presentations of information, often based on research or analysis.
