management .

The purpose and general principle of property management are to assist the owner in
leasing/renting out their property and collecting a reasonable return. Overall its purpose is
to act in the best interest of the owner (through activities such as advertising and
marketing the property, to maintaining the property, keeping it tenanted, collecting rent,
budgeting and maintaining records) under current rules, legislation and regulation.


2. Rental Bonds - complete the following :-

a. Is it compulsory to take a rental bond?

It is not compulsory to take a rental bond, although it is recommended and would
be considered good practice to do so. Bond cannot be more than 4 weeks rent.

b. How is the rental bond calculated if weekly rent is $500?
