ﺗُﻌﺮف اﻟﺤﻘﻦ اﻟﺸﺮﺟﯿﺔ ﻛﺒﯿﺮة اﻟﺤﺠﻢ ﺑﺎﺳﻢ ﻧﺎﻗﺺ اﻟﺘﻮﺗﺮ )ﻣﺎء اﻟﺼﻨﺒﻮر( أو ﻣﺘﺴﺎوي

Large volume enemas are known as hypotonic (tap
water)or isotonic (normal saline), depending on the
solution used.
Adults: 50oml to 1000 ml
Infants: 150 to 250 ml
Assessment guidelines
• Ask the patient about last bowel movement.
• Assess the patient's abdomen before and after the enema. .• اﺳﺄل اﻟﻤﺮﯾﺾ ﻋﻦ ﺣﺮﻛﺔ اﻷﻣﻌﺎء اﻷﺧﯿﺮة
• Assess the rectal area for any fissures, hemorrhoids, sores, or rectal .• ﺗﻘﯿﯿﻢ ﺑﻄﻦ اﻟﻤﺮﯾﺾ ﻗﺒﻞ وﺑﻌﺪ اﻟﺤﻘﻨﺔ اﻟﺸﺮﺟﯿﺔ

• Assess for dizziness, lightheadedness, diaphoresis and clammy skin.

• Do not administer enemas to patients who have severe abdominal
